Bosch has resumed the competition among service centres of diagnostic and garage equipment

  • All Ukrainian largest dealers of diagnostics and garage equipment took part in the competition
  • After 3-year interval, the event was held at Bosch Academy, created on the basis of Odessa National Polytechnic University
  • The aim of the competition is not only to define the best specialists, but to establish partnership between workshops

All-Ukraine competition among service centres of Bosch diagnostic and garage equipment – BTS (Bosch Test equipment Service) – was held at Bosch Academy, created on the basis of Odessa National Polytechnic University. The main goal of the event is not only to define the best specialists, but to create the atmosphere of collaboration between BTS network’s partners. 6 dealers took part in competition. As a result, the best company was determined for each working place, and 3 companies were defined in the overall standings. Garant-Avtotechnik 2 (Kyiv) won the First prize, Ukrtechavto (Odesa) won the Second, and PMS (Kyiv) – the Third.

The competition’s program included online tests in electric and electronics, as well as the practical tasks on FSA/KTS, FWA, MLD/HTD 815, SDL equipment, and practical tasks in electric and electronics on the specially designed production prototypes. All participants should be aware of equipment repair methods and have the appropriate knowledge to demonstrate clients the benefits of Bosch equipment for diagnostic and repair at workshops.

Oleksandr Cherevko, Head of Service and Technical Support Department in Ukraine and Diagnostic Equipment Service Support in Ukraine, Russia and Belarus, says: “In comparison with other regions of the world, our region got the effect of global recession to a much greater extent. Thus, renewal of BTS competition after 3-year interval is the significant milestone, some Rubicon between crisis- and after-crisis periods. It demonstrated the passing of uncertaintypeak. Bosch and its regional partners resume activities within previous volumes, including creation and development of future generation’s motorists, workshop specialists, owners and heads of small and medium business.”
